Blackness Primary School faces the threat of closure as councillors will consider whether to start the consultation process
The axe is hanging over a tiny village primary as Falkirk councillors consider starting a consultation on closing Blackness Primary School for good.
The campaigning parents also conducted their own research to show the number of pupils was expected to rise. According to the report, closing Blackness Primary School would save an estimated £203,460 every year.
