Another day, another Wordle to solve. For those of you playing competitive Wordle against me, the Wordle Bot or some other rival, it’s 2XP Friday. This means you can double your winnings—or losses—based on the outcome of your guessing game .
We’re very nearly at the first weekend of the month. Huzzah! Let’s kick things off with a Wordle, shall we?Every day I check Wordle Bot to help analyze my guessing game. You can check your Wordles with Wordle Botand there are these piles of stones—cairns—where the arctic explorers leave records of their travels. It’s a really fascinating series and I highly recommend it!
In any case, this did me little good. With 229 words left, I wiped the SLATE clean, slashing that number down to just 7. FLAME was a good guess, but meant that I still had to make one more. At least it was an easy pick! FLAKE for the win, at last.I thought for sure that the Bot would beat me today or at the very least, we’d get a tie. I was wrong on both counts. While I get 0 points for guessing in four, I get 1 point for beating the Wordle Bot who took surprising five tries today.
If you beat your opponent you get 1 point. If you tie, you get 0 points. And if you lose to your opponent, you get -1 point. Add it up to get your score. Keep a daily running score or just play for a new score each day.Old English: In Middle English, the word evolved into"flake," retaining its meaning of a small, flat piece or layer, especially one that has been chipped or peeled off from a larger whole.
The word"flake" has maintained its essential meaning through these transitions, generally referring to a small, flat, thin piece of something, often detached from a larger object. Over time, its usage has expanded to include contexts like snowflakes, flakes of paint, and even figurative uses, such as referring to an unreliable person.for my daily Wordle and Strands guides as well as all my other writing about TV shows, streaming guides, movie reviews, video game coverage and much more.
