A toddler has been carried away from a Melbourne apartment by police after he was found alone with the dead body of a woman believed to be his mother. 7NEWS
WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE: Boy discovered alone inside home with a body in Melbourne.It is unclear exactly how long he was left alone with her body, but neighbours told 7NEWS they raised concerns with building management two days prior.
Concerned neighbours told 7NEWS the situation was traumatising, and reported that the young boy appeared to be visibly struggling. The apartment complex managed by Unison provides accommodation for young people experiencing homelessness, 7NEWS understands.
