Tommy Sheridan has vowed the independence movement is “not going away”, ahead of sharing a platform with Alex Salmond at a Glasgow indy rally tomorrow.

Former socialist MSP Sheridan, who has been running pro-independence Hope Over Fear rallies for more than a decade, insisted passion was still high for the cause. “What we’ll be doing on Saturday is we’ll be gathering in George Square and we will be announcing loud and clear to everyone who wishes to listen that we’re not going away.
