The striker admits it was a tough clash with Kilmarnock in Friday night's 1-1 draw
Motherwell striker Tony Watt reckons referee Chris Graham will realise he blundered by sending Dan Casey off against Kilmarnock – but his side will take the point from the 1-1 draw and move on.
But with a hectic festive period that sees Motherwell clash with Celtic and Rangers in three days from Boxing Day, before travelling to Hearts, Watt reckons a point might be decent. “It was a difficult game. Kilmarnock fought us, we fought them, it is what it is. That’s football for you in Scotland, you need to win your battles before you can play.
Motherwell are fourth in the table, going into this weekend’s games, with Dundee United two points behind in fifth, though facing a visit from champions Celtic on Sunday.
