A new survey carried out by consumer watchdog Which? has revealed the UK's favourite scenic destinations and a number of spectacular Scottish beauty spots are featured.
The UK’s favourite scenic destinations have been revealed as part of a new Which? survey, including multiple picturesque spots in Scotland.
Locations were marked on eight criteria — peace and quiet, opportunities for wildlife spotting, visitor facilities, food and drink, scenery, accommodation, and attractions — with an overall area score then calculated. Meanwhile, close behind in joint second place for Scotland in the survey are Shetland and Wester Ross, both with a score of 87 percent.
Meanwhile, Wester Ross was rated five out of five for peace and quiet and for scenery, while the area received a rating of four out of five for walks, wildlife spotting, and accommodation, and a rating of three out of five for attractions, visitor facilities, and food and drink.
