Total War Pharoah announced for October with new campaign customisation feature TotalWar TotalWarPharaoh Sega pcgaming
Total War: Pharoah will transport players to Ancient Egypt, specifically the Egyptian New Kingdom period around the collapse of the Bronze Age. They’ll be determining the fate of three cultures – namely, the people of Egypt, the Canaan and the Hittite empire.
There’ll be eight Faction Leaders to choose from, each with their own unique playstyles – and we’re promised a range of deadly and diverse units rosters. The hallmarks of the series are all present and correct, of course, letting you achieve victory through diplomacy, charging into battle as a commander, or subjugating your enemies as a mighty warlord – the choice ill be up to you.
We’re also promised much more freedom in how you play, with the new Campaign Customisation feature ensuring that no two campaigns feel alike. You’ll be able to change options like starting locations, resource settings and even the ability to set natural disasters as you see fit, making things harder or easier for yourself – it’s entirely up to you.
Though a specific date is to be confirmed, Total War Pharoah will be available on PC via Steam or the Epic Game Store from October 2023.
