New Preston North End striker Troy Parrott is hoping to nail down a starting spot in the no.9 position.
Speaking to the club website, he said: “I've been a striker growing up, I've played on the left, as a 10, on the right and I've played striker and I don't mind where I play once I'm in the team."I want double figure goals, definitely. I had a bit of a slow start in my senior career for getting goals but last season gave me a massive boost.
“I can't wait to get going, I'm buzzing to be here now and I can't wait to get out on the pitch and show what I can do.is an exciting game, I can't wait to get out there and put the shirt on, and get off to a flyer.” He took part in a famously gruelling pre-season with parent club Spurs and Antonio Conte before moving north to Lancashire.
