Former Tottenham defender Michael Dawson believes the club's transfer window could be an 'absolute disaster' if they don't make more signings. He says missing out on targets like Tel and Fikayo Tomori is a blow for manager Ange Postecoglou and the team, especially with injuries adding to their problems.

Ange Postecoglou will be extremely unhappy with the transfer window Tottenham already and it could still end in disaster, Michael Dawson has said.

Tel in paticular had been a big target for Spurs, with suggestions a £50million deal had been agreed, with chairman Daniel Levy apparently flying to Germany for negotiations with the 19-year-old.Now Dawson believes that means this window is at risk of becoming an “absolute disaster” for the club if they are not able to turn things round quickly.

“The one where Fikayo Tomori, which I thought would have been a good signing for where they are now, do I think he plays instead of Mickey van de Ven and Romero? It has already been a terrible season for Tottenham in terms of results on the pitch, which hasn’t been helped by struggles for fitness and form at centre-back and in attack respectively.
