A Manchester City fan has died after collapsing at yesterday's Manchester football derby, the club has confirmed.
An eyewitness has said people have been left ‘traumatised’ by the heart-breaking scene as stewards tried to save the man. A statement from Manchester City, released this afternoon said: “Manchester City are aware of the tragic news that one of our supporters passed away following a medical incident at yesterday's match.
A witness, who wished to remain anonymous, told the M.E.N.: “It was about 10 past 4. We were going into the grounds at entrance K and the gent was on the floor having CPR performed on him. It had just happened as there were only a few people in front of us.
