Tributes have been placed at the scene at Clippers Quay
Emergency services descended on the water at Clippers Quay on August 13 after the alarm was raised over a woman in difficulty. A huge number of police officers, firefighters and paramedics were pictured on the scene as a cordon was put in place just over the water from Old Trafford football ground.
Flowers and tributes have been placed at the scene for the woman. A file will be passed to the coroner. “There were loads of them” he said. “Police, ambulances, fire engines and incident response units. One after another.
