'Let’s make Demi's last day as beautiful and special as she is'
The details of Demi-Leigh Davies' funeral have been released by her family with mourners being asked to wear a "touch of pink" in her memory.
"All are welcome to attend Demi's final journey Monday 21st October at St Peter’s Church at 11.30am - family and Demi's closest friends will then attend a private ceremony afterwards at Pleasington followed by a celebration of Demi's life and refreshments at Darwen cricket club from 3.30pm. Let’s make Demi's last day as beautiful and special as she is".
"You never think this is going to happen to you or your family and it shouldn’t, we shouldn’t have to be saying goodbye to our beautiful Demi-Leigh. "Demi-Leigh’s absence has left a massive hole in our hearts, she truly was the centre of our family and world, if we can give one thing back to our angel, this is it. Rest in peace our gorgeous angel, we hope we do you proud, now and in future."
