Jinna Han , a 13-year-old figure skating prodigy, tragically lost her life in the mid-air collision of American Airlines Flight 5342 and a military helicopter over Washington, D.C. on January 29, 2025. Along with Jinna, the aircraft also carried her mother, Jin Han, and four other members of the Skating Club of Boston: teenage skater Spencer Lane and his mother Christine Lane, as well as beloved Russian coaches Vadim Naumov and Evgenia Shisova.
