The Nottingham tram operator has issued an update following a crash between a tram and a car. The incident took place in Beeston on Lower Road on Thursday, March 21, at around 7pm. NET Tram has confirmed that no casualties were reported following the incident. As a result of the crash, travel was disrupted for most of Thursday evening, with no service between University Boulevard and Cator Lane.
A NET Tram spokesperson said: "No casualties were reported following the road traffic collision, in which a tram and a car were involved. Services are not disrupted this morning (March 22) as a result of the incident." The child was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the incident, with trams being brought to a halt for several hours.
