Industrial action was called off at the 11th hour last year after a pay rise was agreed - but workers say it's an issue that hasn't gone away
The trade union body which represents hundreds of NET employees on Nottingham's tram network has threatened strike action for the second year running in a move they say could disrupt the 10-day Goose Fair . GMB says that 90% of the workforce has voted in favour of the move, which would coincide with the city's premier and historic autumnal attraction.
GMB's regional organiser Colin Whyatt said: “Our members want nothing less than to take action during one of Nottingham’s busiest weeks. Tram workers do vital work for our city, keeping families, workers and businesses moving every single day.
