Tributes have flooded in to a 'wonderful man and friendly gentleman' who brought Blackpool the 'best kebabs the resort had ever seen'.
"After a short illness, Nerses passed away peacefully. The family are coming to terms with a great loss and ask for consideration at this time. Following the tragic announcement, tributes from long-standing customers and regulars have also flooded in on social media. More than 400 people have left a message of condolence to Nerses' family.
Writing below, Pam Jones said: "I moved to Blackpool in 1978 the year Nerses opened and it was the first kebab I ever tasted, here we are in 2023 and they are still the best, a lovely man with always a smile and friendly welcome, a legend. My sincere condolences to all the family."
