A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the grandmother's death
A woman who was found dead at a home in Peterhead on Tuesday evening has been named locally as Elizabeth Watson.
Police launched a probe following the discovery. The force confirmed this morning that a 30-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the woman's death.As well as being a devoted mum and grandmother, she was a member of Apex Church and has been described as an amazing neighbour. Friend Elizabeth Milne said: "One of my best pals totally devastated. Heartbroken. Precious memories of all our times together thoughts with all her family."
