DJ Alfredo has died at the age of 71. The Ibiza legend has left his fans heartbroken and many have paid tribute to the star who 'changed the world of music'. The famous club that launched his career, Amnesia, paid tribute to him on Instagram on Tuesday. The Argentinian DJ, full name Alfredo Fiorito, is regarded among the most influential in dance music history. 'So many memories were made through your energy, your legacy will live on our dancefloor forever. 'You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Alfredo. The Amnesia Family.' A number of fellow dance music legends have paid tribute to him online including Sister Bliss, Dave Pearce and Rowetta. Sister Bliss wrote: 'Very sad to hear the news about DJ Alfredo - my first trip to Ibiza in 92 was to play for him at Amnesia … safe to say he changed the world of music for the better. Fly high to the great gig in the sky.' Whilst Rowetta - who was previously a member of the Happy Mondays - wrote: 'So so sad to hear that our friend, Ibiza pioneer DJ Alfredo has left us. 'He was a legend when I first played KU in 1990 & he always will be. RIP Alfredo
