Tributes have been paid to a teenager who died after a tree fell on his car during Storm Éowyn, with his family remembering 'the most selfless, loving, kind hearted beautiful young man'.
The car was struck by a tree on the B743 Ayr Road near Mauchline at 6.45am. Calum was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but tragically died the following day, reports the Daily Record. "Calum, we love you so much and we promise to take care of each other and try to stay strong for you. I will forever be grateful for the 14 years I had with you and will treasure all our amazing memories together.
