The judge ordered the destruction of all drugs seized.

Three men involved in bringing "commercial quantities'' of drugs into Northern Ireland were jailed on Friday.

Moore also admitted two counts of possessing criminal property totalling £4,700 on dates between December 17 and December 18, 2021. All the drugs were imported from England to Northern Ireland and were seized after a lorry was stopped at Larne Port in December 2021. A detective constable who stopped Moore told him: "I hope we don't keep you too long.''But when Moore saw other officers approaching his vehicle, he replied: "Well, I think you'll be keeping me a while.

The Crown prosecutor said that when Moore's mobile phone was examined, police "discovered the involvement" of Brown, who was in contact with Moore on 40 occasions between December 13 and 16 during the trip to and from England. Following Moore's arrest and a subsequent police investigation, both Moore and Khan were arrested with both men failing to answer questions about the drugs seized. When Judge Peter Irvine KC enquired about the value of the drugs seized, Mr McNeill said they had a "wholesale value" totalling £484,500.

Saying the father-of-three has "paid a heavy price", Mr Boyd added his wheel-chair bound client does not display any trapping of wealth but accepts he stood to gain money from the operation.
