According to TV doctor Michael Mosley, vegetables and fruits that contain carotenoids, which are yellow, orange and red organic pigments produced by plants, are best for the skin.
Many try out various creams, serums, face masks and sometimes even cosmetic surgery in attempt to ensure they have wrinkle-free skin.
The orange vegetable are full of vitamin C which aids the collagen production in the body. Collagen is fundamental for the maintenance of the skin's elasticity and thus helps in the prevention of wrinkles and slows down the process of ageing. "And remember - particularly during the winter months, when skin gets drier and flakier - to moisturise straight after you have washed your face, when your skin is low on natural oils."
