Viewers are furious after being shown a ‘spoiler’ during the finale of The Day of the Jackal Viewers have slammed a decision to air the trailer for the next season of a series during its finale. The British political thriller The Day of the Jackal stars Eddie Redmayne as the titular character, described as an ‘unrivalled and highly elusive lone assassin who makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee’.
