Merseyside Police arrested two men after stopping a vehicle and finding a rock of suspected crack cocaine. A subsequent search of a property in Tranmere uncovered a large amount of suspected Class A drugs, including magic mushrooms, ecstasy, and opiate tablets, as well as Class B drugs, ketamine and cannabis.
Two men have been arrested after police pulled a car over and found a rock of white powder, before searching a property in Tranmere , where a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs were found. On Wednesday, December 18, Merseyside Police officers were driving along Derby Road when they saw a vehicle parked on St Catherine's Gardens and a man going into a property nearby. He then returned and drove away onto Church Road.
Two men, aged 63 and 43, from Tranmere, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of a controlled Cass B drug. They are still in police custody to be questioned. Community Policing Inspector Nicola Hughes said: “Thanks to proactive policing work a significant amount of drugs have been removed from our streets which cause harm in our communities.
