Best known for playing Alan in the Glasgow sitcom, Grado appeared in a very different role as he portrays fictional drug dealer Degsy in Irvine Welsh's Crime, which is available to watch on ITVX.

Two Doors Down star Grado has swapped comedy for a much darker role as he made an appearance in gripping ITV cop drama Crime.

Wrestler and actor Graeme Stevely, whose ring name is Grado, plays fictional drug dealer Degsy in episode two, of the second season of Irvine Welsh's drama. Sharing the news on his Instagram, Grado wrote: "wee part on episode 2 of the second series of @irvine.welsh Crime w/ Dougray Scott which is available to watch on @itvxofficial now."One said: "Seen it the other night, brilliant."A third added: "Yes mate!
