Passengers who use Alexandra Parade and Hillington West have been warned they face disruption as £5 million works from Network Rail lasting for months begin in January 2025.

Rail passengers at two Glasgow railway stations face five months of disruption as major £5 million refurbishment works take place.

From January 18 until May 4, the westbound platform at Alexandra Parade will not be in operation. Passengers have been advised to use nearby Duke Street during this time. Meanwhile, at Hillington West, on the line to Paisley Gilmour Street, a £2.9 million project will renew both platforms in two 13-week phases beginning on February 16.
