Police were called to a disturbance on Echobank in Inverkeithing and then to a linked incident in Dunfermline on Friday afternoon.
Police were called to Echobank in Inverkeithing after a disturbance at 3.20pm on April 19. Eyewitnesses say that detectives taped off a pathway connecting Echobank with Roman Road.

A local resident told the Record: "I heard a man shouting that he had been stabbed.
