Two men ran a massive people-smuggling ring - hiding people in cars, boats and lorries - in an operation set up at a car wash in Wales , a court has heard.

She added: 'The police carried out surveillance on these defendants and on certain dates recorded their movements. 'You will hear various conversations recorded of these defendants talking whilst they were in their motor vehicles and seem to be the only occupants.'She said the smugglers allegedly used four different routes to traffic people through Europe.
