A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with serious assault and will appear at Forfar Sheriff Court on Monday.
Two people were rushed to hospital after an alleged stabbing in flood-hit Brechin onSaturday afternoon. Emergency services were called to the Wards Road area of the town, which was ravaged by extreme flooding during Storm Babet, around 4.35pm on Saturday.
