Emergency services released two people after a one-vehicle crash in a village near Market Drayton in the early hours of this morning.
A female passenger received treatment for potentially serious injuries from ambulance crews after being rescued from the car in a crash in Smythmoor in Longford, Market Drayton just after 5am on Wednesday.A male driver was also rescued from the vehicle by fire crews before receiving treatment for injuries not believed to be serious. He was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital.
"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered a car on its side following a collision and that there were two patients.
