Eligible people will be paid the cash within 10 working days
In posts on social media, Lloyds Bank is urging people to "join the 'I got £175 for moving my bank account' club", and has said it will give the cash to people who make the switch by Tuesday, July 30.
The £3 fee is waived if you pay in £2,000 or more a month, and the Club Lloyds Account comes with a "lifestyle benefit" such as Disney+ or cinema tickets, as well as "preferential" savings account rates, access to "exclusive mortgage offers", monthly interest when you pay out two direct debits each month, "preferential" exchange rates.
You won't be eligible if you switch from an existing Lloyds Bank account, or if you've received a switching incentive since April 2020 for switching to any Lloyds, Bank of Scotland or Halifax Bank account.
