Russia and Ukraine have given conflicting accounts of battles on the frontline in the southeastern Zaporizhzhia region as Volodymyr Zelenskyy insists the war is not at a 'stalemate'. The Ukrainian president has invited Donald Trump to Kyiv to see the scale of the war.
Russian drone attacks in the port city of Odesa yesterday evening have left at least five people injured. The attacks also set grain trucks on fire and damaged one of the city's main art galleries, Ukrainian officials said.'On November 6, the Odesa National Art Museum turns 124 years old,' Oleh Kiper, governor of the Odesa region, said.
'On the eve of November 6, the Russians 'congratulated' our architectural monument with a missile that hit nearby.'The walls of the building were damaged, some windows and glass were broken, he said.He later said 15 drones launched by Russia were destroyed over the city.Several high-rise residential buildings were damaged and warehouse and trucks with grain caught fire.Before the war, the Odesa National Art Museum housed more than 10,000 pieces of art.
