"Russia also appears to have lost, or is in the process of losing, its advantage in long-range strike capabilities.
Another possibility is that Vladimir Putin will"hunt for a symbolic victory" like actually destroying a Patriot system. "At the conventional level, Russia's position will only continue to weaken. There is no likely scenario any more where Russia's conventional military might will increase."
