A United Airlines flight landed safely at Denver International Airport on Monday after the plane lost a wheel while taking off from Los Angeles International Airport.
Flight 1001 lost one wheel during takeoff from LAX at 6:53 a.m., according to flight data and a statement from United Airlines.
