Hibs Women and Glasgow City have complained about the standard of facilities at Lochburn Park
Partick Thistle’s temporary plans have been thrown into disarray – and all because of a urinating pup.
Petershill – which Thistle have used as a home ground – is currently out of use as the stadium undergoes extensive refurbishment of the pitch and floodlights. As such, Thistle have been using Maryhill’s Lochburn Park for home games while City have been using K-Park in East Kilbride. Both City and Hibs have complained about the standard of facility on offer at Lochburn Park – with the dog cited as one of the reasons for moving the game.
Thistle are on the road on Wednesday night as they take on Spartans as they look for their first league win of the season. Defending champions Celtic face Motherwell in Airdrie as Elena Sadiku’s side seek to maintain their winning start.
