Officers will be patrolling the bridge this weekend after receiving reports of vandalism.

The new Govan to Partick footbridge will be rife with police patrols this weekend following reports of "vandalism".

In a statement shared on X, a spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "There have been reports of vandalism to the new footbridge and around Riverside Museum as well as complaints about e-bikes. Partick Community Officers will be on foot and cycle patrol this weekend tackling these issues raised by the local community."

It was financed by the Glasgow City Region City Deal, a more than £1 billion infrastructure initiative funded by both the UK and Scottish governments.
