Virgin Media is rolling out a nationwide switchover

Virgin Media has issued an 'important' update to customers ahead of an upcoming 'switchover'. The telecommunications company offers broadband and TV, as well as mobile and home phone services. On Thursday, the provider said it was making sure 'all your services are tip-top for the future'. It added: 'We’re switching all our customers over to our fibre phone network.

When you switch, your phone will need to be plugged directly into the WiFi Hub.' Anyone who has already switched to the fibre phone line, meaning their phone lines are already connected to their WiFi Hubs, will not need to do anything. Those who are yet to make the switch are being told it is important to keep an eye on letterboxes and inboxes to make sure they open and read 'these important comms'. VM said: 'When it’s time to switch, we’ll get in touch to let you know.
