The Food Standards Agency has issued a recall notice for the Waitrose Chinese Takeaway Bag for two
Waitrose customers have been alerted to a health risk involving a takeaway meal bag sold by the supermarket. The Food Standards Agency has issued a recall for the product, advising that it can be returned to any Waitrose store for a refund.
The recall affects all bags with use-by dates from September 21, 2024, to December 4, 2024. On December 4, 2024, the FSA announced: "We are issuing this recall on December 4, 2024, which is the last use by date quoted in this recall. This is because the product is suitable for freezing and therefore there may be products from the recall period in people's freezers, which will need to be recalled.
