A wanted murder suspect from San Antonio was caught in Pleasanton on Tuesday. According to the Pleasanton Police Department's release statement, on April 9th around 10 am, they received a request for assistance from the United States Marshals Office in arresting a murder suspect located in Pleasanton .
Deputies say working together, officers from both agencies were able to locate the suspect at a residence on the 1600 block of Frances St. within an RV park. After observing the suspect entering and exiting the residence, the US Marshals, assisted by Pleasanton Patrol Officers and Detectives, arrested a 37-year-old man from San Antonio.
Deputies shared that due to the suspect's proximity to Pleasanton Primary School, the Pleasanton ISD Police Department was immediately notified of the suspect's location. The suspect is currently booked in the Atascosa County Jail on outstanding warrants for Murder, Aggravated Assault, and a Parole Violation.
