People are being urged to remain vigilant and take up the offer of a free security upgrade
Police are urging people with Land Rovers and Range Rovers to be vigilant after 15 vehicles were reported stolen so far in September. Officers are also advising owners to take advantage of a free security upgrade being offered by Jaguar Land Rover .
Those eligible for a security upgrade will have received a vehicle recall letter directly from JLR. No further details have been released about where the vehicles were stolen.In a statement issued today , a force spokesperson said: "Organised car thieves are targeting Land Rovers and Range Rovers in the Lancashire area. In September there have been 15 reported as stolen.
"We would urge anybody who owns this type of vehicle to ensure that they are taking advantage of the free security upgrade offered by Jaguar Land Rover.
