A family dog who tumbled over a cliffside at Glenariff Forest park, was brought to safety after a three-hour rescue operation by the Fire Service.
But suddenly the Cocker Spaniel vanished and her owner Lauren from Co Down, could hear her whimpering but could not see her dog. In a distraught phone, she turned to Lost and Found Pets North Down to get help to raise the alarm.And soon the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and Mountain Rescue were at the scene and launched a rescue operation that last three hours and ended in Piper being safely hoisted back to her owner.
