WaterlooRoad's Angela Griffin's life off-screen with famous husband
Since first arriving back on our screens in the 1990s, it’s safe to say Angela Griffin has become one of the most loved and recognisable stars of the UK TV scene.
But while many fans know Angela for her dramatic work on TV, away from our screens she lives a very different and thankfully far quieter life with her husband.Early Life Long before she became the household name we know today, Angela Melissa Griffin was born on 19th July 1976, in the Yorkshire city of Leeds. Angela grew up just outside Beeston on the Cottingley Estate.
Following her departure from Corrie in 1998, Angela soon took on a new challenge when she starred as staff nurse Jasmine Hopkins in BBC medical drama Holby City, a role she held for three years before leaving the show to pursue other opportunities. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Angela has also tried her hand at voice acting after taking on the role of Amy the vet in highly popular children’s animation Postman Pat.
