The aim of the Town Hall Quarter programme is to create a hub for people and businesses in Watford and this is one of the projects to transform the area.The building was also made more eco-friendly through the restoration, with the council committing to carbon neutrality by 2030.

Watford hoping to conclude deal to sign striker Rajovic from KalmarWatford are hoping to conclude a deal for striker Mileta Rajovic with Swedish club Kalmar in the next 24-48 hours.The 24-year-old has been earmarked as the number one target in the club’s search for a new striker. It’s expected if talks progress positively that Rajovic, who has joint Danish and Montenegrin citizenship, will join on a permanent deal and sign a long-term contract at the Championship club.Rajovic - who is 6’4” - has scored seven goals for Kalmar in 20 league games this season. Watford are looking for competition for Vakoun Bayo.Sory Kaba (who joined Las Palmas from FC Midtjylland) and Shamar Nicholson (Spartak Moscow) have been considered and talks have been held.It’s understood that Valerien Ismael has played an active role in recruitment during this transfer window and Rajovic fits the profile of player that he is looking for.If the deal is completed Rajovic would be able to play having come from a competitive ongoing season.
