Shadow Cyber Security Minister James Paterson has discussed where Chinese CCTV cameras have been installed in government agency buildings around the country.
“We do know the types of buildings; we know that they are in the Department of Defence, the Attorney General’s Department, the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade,” Mr Paterson told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“Not exactly the kind of agencies you would think should be having Chinese technology anywhere near them, let alone installed all over them in some cases.”
