Colin who runs Monster Munchies at the Barras is a popular spot for anyone venturing into the east end for some street food whether it's for the bao buns, loaded fries or salt and chilli chips.

When it comes to us Scots, there are very few of us who would turn our noses up at an ice cold can of Irn-Bru, but what about cooking with it?

"Arriving at their opening time of 12pm sharp and being first in the queue, I opted to go for their Irn-Bru Chilli Chicken Bao Buns. But if you don't like Irn-Bru, or chicken, there are many other options to choose from - all worthy of trying. The east end eatery, Monster Munchies, is ran by Colin who has built up a loyal following in and around the Barras with his small kiosk located just beside The Hutch - also a favourite spot with those heading to the east end.

Whether you're a fan of Scotland's national drink or not, I think anyone would love the bao buns. The sauce was sweet but wasn't overly sweet like I thought it could be. The chilli wasn't over-powering either with it having just the right kick to it.
