Boden Boo is easily reachable via the M8 and offers a peaceful woodland walk with an incredible wee beach at the end and stunning views of not only the bridge but also the Kilpatrick Hills.
One beach that's not that well known and a little closer to the city centre, is the little gem that is. Found close to Erskine, it's a woodland walk that opens up down near the famous bridge, to a wee beach and the waters of the Clyde.
Just a 25-minute drive and easily accessible via the M8, it's well regarded as an ideal place for a family day out, or even just a romantic walk with your significant other and your favourite pooch.Easy to get to, just head for the A726, and take the turn off just off the south end of the Erskine Bridge, with PA8 6AX the nearest pot code for your sat nav.
Not too hard to find there is a small parking spot with space for a few cars. With plenty of green spots it seems ideal for picnics and relaxing strolls as well as bike rides for the more active among you.
