Dua Lipa and Coldplay will be headlining the festival this year
Thousands of people from Liverpool and across the UK will be heading to Glastonbury hoping for warm weather.
The festival starts in Somerset on Wednesday, June 26 and will run until Sunday, June 30. Previous years such as 2016 saw floods take place in the area beforehand.READ MORE:'Chocolate-box' village an hour from Liverpool that's the 'perfect day trip' The Somerset area could experience either warm or very warm temperatures. The first day of the festival, June 26, will be cloudy with sunny intervals with temperatures ranging from 16 to 21°C from 7am until 10pm. Humidity levels are forecast to begin at 88% before dropping to the mid-sixties during the day before rising again to 79% in the evening.
Commenting on the upcoming weather across the UK, Neil Armstrong, Met Office chief forecaster, said: “After a brief, less settled, interlude on Friday and Saturday, fine conditions will return by Sunday and into next week. For much of the UK this will be accompanied by a boost in temperatures with many places reaching the mid-20°Cs by the middle of next week.
