80s pop star Paul Young and his longterm girlfriend Lorna tied the knot at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London surrounded by loved ones - six years after tragically losing his late wife Stacey Smith to brain cancer
On Friday, 12 July, 80s pop icon Paul Young said “I do” to his stunning bride Lorna at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in central London. It was clearly a joyful affair for the Youngs, who got engaged late last year, as they beamed while posing on the steps of the famous venue in these heartwarming wedding snaps – and the newlyweds certainly looked the part too.
It was no doubt a poignant moment for Paul, who lost his first wife Stacey Smith to brain cancer in 2018. He and Stacey met on the set for his music video of his 1983 hit Come Back And Stay and went on to have three children — Levi, Layla and Grady together. They separated in 2006, before reconciling in 2009 and staying married until her passing, which he previously described as not “an easy time for anybody”.
Lorna, who already shared the surname of Young with Paul before they were married, said on her own feed next to a snap with the singer, “My world, my love, my everything, 5 years of joy, I could not love anyone more.” “Ridiculously excited!” Lorna said on the eve of her wedding. “Marrying my sun, moon and stars! My life fell apart and my darling Paul put me back together!”
