West Bromwich Albion have recalled young defender Caleb Taylor from his loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers. Taylor impressed during the first half of the season with the Chairboys, who are currently top of League One. He will now be looking to make an impact for the Baggies in the Championship, where they are short on centre-back options.
The 21-year-old centre-back has returned to The Hawthorns after an impressive first half of the season with the Chairboys, who are currently top of the League One table.
Semi Ajayi is still around two months away from being fit again having undergone surgery on a hamstring injury sustained in October, while loanee Paddy McNair has returned to parent club San Diego, having made just three starts in an injury-hit spell. Baggies sporting Director Andrew Nestor said:"We are pleased to have Caleb return to us after such a rewarding spell at Wycombe, where he made a great contribution to their ascent to the top of League One.
