But what is Auburn’s history with the SEC’s two newest members?
The first matchup between Auburn and either of the schools came in 1910 — Auburn lost 9-0 to Texas in football that year. Eighteen of the 49 total games have been in the postseason. Auburn’s football team has played Oklahoma twice ever and both times were in the Sugar Bowl.Auburn is a combined 18-31 against Texas and Oklahoma, including 8-17 against the Sooners.
Auburn softball leads the way both in the number of games played against either opponent, but also in losses to either Texas or Oklahoma, having lost eight of 10 to the Sooners. Auburn’s baseball team has also lost five of six against Oklahoma.
