We spoke to four more Parsons students as part of our 'What's it like studying at the top fashion school in the world?' series.
Most biggest lesson at Parsons was the process of how I develop and organise my idea. During this process I could find my strength and identity as a designer.Who would you say were your biggest influences?I would say myself because I enjoy to visualise my emotions and what I feel. During the graduate collection process, my biggest influences was the experience from the life drawing class that I attend at New York.
I was able to study the male form and I began to feel the possibility of breaking free from the repressed sexual culture I have always known.Could you share with us the first 3 images that were on your mood board for your graduate collection?Photography of male body parts that I took during the research - one of my drawing of male body form. Textile development inspired by my drawing. Used machine embroidery on top of the suiting fabric.
